The machine HY-175N in the video is upgraded from standard serie HY-175, it’s customized for printing and discharging metal tubes like eyebrow pencils, UV curing system isn’t needed because UV ink doesn’t apply on metal tubes, but servo module discharging system is necessary to automatically unloading the printed tubes on the nail plates, then the worker takes the plates to wind box for drying it.
It is driven by a 12 stations vertically mounted rotary indexing table that is equipped with a high-end European SITI brand (Italian) main drive motor.
Screen printing has the advantages of large batches, low prices, bright colors, long shelf life, and fast delivery. It is recognized by more and more industries and is widely used.
Screen printing consists of five elements:
Screen printing plate, squeegee, ink, printing table and printing object;
Different screens are suitable for different products, nylon screen has good abrasion resistance, suitable for plastic printing.
Ink:
Screen printing inks are generally divided into UV inks and PU inks. PU inks are not wear-resistant, so they can only be printed on the primer, and then sprayed with a top coat for protection;
UV ink has excellent adhesion and abrasion resistance, and can be silk-printed on the top coat to greatly improve production efficiency. It is currently widely used in production.
The advantages of silk screen printing:
1. Not limited by the size and shape of the object.
Generally, printing can only be performed on a flat surface, but screen printing can not only print on a flat surface, but also print on a molded object with a special shape, such as a spherical curved surface. Anything with a shape can be performed by screen printing.

The screen is soft and flexible.

It can be used for pure white printing on all black products with strong three-dimensional effect.

The differences between pad printing and screen printing:
In the printing industry, the probability of using silk screen printing is relatively high. Its working principle is a device in which the ink is printed on the surface of the flat substrate through the screen printing screen according to the shape required to be printed by the screen opening. The biggest advantage of the screen printing machine is that the substrate can be various, but it is more suitable for printing flat objects.
The pad printer is more suitable for small area and irregular products.
These two kinds of machines can be fast and efficient in monochrome printing. Of course, two-color and multi-color can also have excellent performance. However, if the color is too complex, then they are not so good at it.
Complex colors are more suitable for hot stamping or thermal/heat transfer, or more advanced printing technology.
Silk screen printing: by screen printing (the pattern is on the screen)
Pad printing: transfer by rubber head (the pattern is on the rubber head)
Both can be printed on curved surfaces.
Generally speaking, the silk screen effect is better, and the pad printing should be faster.
The pad printing process uses a deformable pad printing rubber head to complete the ink transfer. The surface of the pad printing rubber head does not contain graphics and text; the required graphics and text must first be printed and etched into a pad printing gravure, and then printed on the surface of the pad printing gravure apply ink, scrape off the ink in the non-graphic area on the surface of the printing plate with a hard squeegee, dip the ink from the pits of the printing plate with a rubber head, lift it, and move it to the surface of the substrate for imprinting to complete the printing.
Screen printing can be used for flat surfaces or arc surfaces with little curvature.
The printing ink layer is thick, which can completely block the background color.
Large printing area.
Screen printing is more suitable for single color manuscripts with crisp text and lines, and it is also suitable for color manuscripts with large contrast and clear levels. Through the special effects of screen printing, the reproductions are rich in expressiveness.
